Adzuna is a well-known global job aggregator with an API that surfaces listings from dozens of job boards. CleanJobData goes one step further upstream — pulling directly from employer ATS systems rather than re-aggregating from boards that already aggregated from employers. Here's what that means for the data you'll actually work with.

Adzuna's API is a reasonable choice for UK and US-focused products where broad job board aggregation is enough. CleanJobData is stronger for international coverage, richer company metadata, and use cases where data quality and normalization consistency matter — particularly in the tech and SaaS hiring market.
300 requests a day during the trial, no card required.
The key is free and self-serve. Adzuna's terms set default limits of 25 requests a minute, 250 a day, 1,000 a week and 2,500 a month, describe free commercial access as a 14-day trial for checking data quality, and require attribution. Beyond that you need a licence, and the price isn't published. CleanJobData's free trial is clearly defined (14 days, 300 requests/day, resetting daily), and paid plans are publicly priced.
Adzuna is strong in the UK — it's where they started and they have deep job board partnerships there. CleanJobData's UK coverage is focused on tech companies using ATS platforms and company career sites — which covers London's fintech and SaaS market well but won't match Adzuna's breadth across all UK sectors.
Adzuna includes salary trend analytics endpoints — historical data, salary histograms, and regional breakdowns — which are useful for market research. CleanJobData returns salary_min, salary_max, currency, and the original salary_text on every listing that publishes one, and you can filter on it directly with salary=min, max — but there's no aggregate trends/histogram endpoint. If you need trend analysis, you'd compute it yourself from the per-listing salary data.
