Glassdoor and ZipRecruiter both come up when developers look for a job listings API, and neither offers a self-serve one today. Glassdoor's legacy public API endpoint (api.glassdoor.com/api/api.htm) returned HTTP 410 Gone when we called it on November 1, 2026. Glassdoor is owned by Recruit Holdings, Indeed's parent company, which announced in July 2025 that Glassdoor's operations would move into Indeed. ZipRecruiter's partner documentation describes a Job API that partners use to post jobs to ZipRecruiter's network and later close them, plus an XML feed import, with ATS integrations handled through [email protected]. That's for sending jobs in, not searching them. ZipRecruiter's site sat behind a bot check when we tried to load it directly, so its documentation details here come from its partner pages as indexed by search. CleanJobData is a self-serve REST API over employer ATS platforms and company career sites. It does not include Glassdoor or ZipRecruiter listings.

Glassdoor's real strength, employee reviews and salary reports, isn't something CleanJobData offers, and it isn't available through a public API either. ZipRecruiter's API is the right path if you're an ATS or employer that wants to post jobs into ZipRecruiter. If you want an API you can query for job listings today, CleanJobData is a live self-serve option, built on employer career pages rather than either marketplace.
300 requests a day during the trial, no card required.
Not a public one. Its legacy API endpoint at api.glassdoor.com returned HTTP 410 Gone when we called it on November 1, 2026, and we found no current self-serve developer program. Older tutorials that walk through getting a Glassdoor API key no longer apply.
We found no public, self-serve one. ZipRecruiter's partner documentation describes a Job API that partners use to post jobs to its network and close them, plus XML feed import, and lists [email protected] for ATS integrations. If you need ZipRecruiter's own listings, contact ZipRecruiter directly.
Both are owned by Recruit Holdings. In July 2025 Recruit announced that Glassdoor's operations would move into Indeed. Indeed's own public job search API is deprecated too; see our Indeed comparison.
No. CleanJobData has no employee reviews or crowd-sourced salary reports. It returns the salary range an employer publishes on a listing, as salary_min, salary_max, currency and the original text, and you can filter on it with salary=min, max.
No. CleanJobData sources from employer ATS platforms and company career sites and doesn't ingest job boards. Query it with GET https://api.cleanjobdata.com/jobs and an Authorization: Bearer header, or try the playground to check coverage for your niche.
